summer reading

She Moves in Not-so Mysterious Ways

I had to laugh at myself earlier today. I started re-reading Meljean Brook's Demon Angel on my commute to work this morning. Then later had a craving to hear Until the End of the World and Vertigo.

It took awhile for the connection to strike me: Until the End of the World is a song dissecting a betrayal (between a certain two people, but I don't want to take the joy of discovery away for those that don't know which two people so I won't say here) while Vertigo includes the lyric "your soul, it can't be bought but your mind can wonder".

The subconscious ain't so mysterious some days.
